![]() In a result you are often stuck with a prolonged and annoying batte unless you spent prolonged time at the vendors (good for you if you don't find it annoying, but you are not many of us). I always value strategy sighlty more than gear, however when gear differences are kinda big between levels, strategies matter less and less(if you don't keep up with gears). Nevetheless, your team only have so much ap to break through enemy armor and cc them, and your team only have so much armor to resist ememy cc. Wishing to progress through combats in a reasonable pace does not equal to not being able to beat encounters without leveled gears. "Constanly wiping? Reloading at the vendor?" Man you are the captain of the projecting aren't you. You're not going to constantly wipe if you forget to spend an hour reloading saves for that perfect item at the vendor. And for those saying that going to vendors is a major grind and they spend more time at merchants than during combat, that's solely your fault it's not necessary to beat the game. So long as you're not in combat you can instantly teleport to vendors at either a major settlement or your ship, so it's not like you have to walk all the way across the map every time you ding.
